The timber lodges at Parc Oasis, near St Tropez, are set in gently sloping woodlands populated with many attractive parasol pines, oak and cork trees.
Our timber lodge holiday home is amongst two hundred others, many of which are permanently owner-occupied. Based on a number of standard designs, all individually decorated and landscaped, with a profusion of exotic and traditional Provençal flora.
The lodges are all of timber construction with excellent insulation which makes them very cool in the hot summers, and warm and cosy in the winter months.
The central feature of the Parc is its fantastic 1,000 sq metre swimming pool designed to feel exactly like a large semi-circular beach. All the chalets are within a couple of minutes from this pool. There are also floodlit tennis courts and a practice wall.
Our accommodation is very well equipped with all mod cons including television, dishwasher, etc and all you will need to bring with you is your own linen and towels. The lodge has a veranda and a garden for those dreamy breakfasts in the early morning sun, and for sundowners and relaxed meals in the evenings, washed down with endless quantities of inexpensive but high quality local wines.
Parc Oasis is suitable for use all year round. The area has very mild winters, and that, combined with the heating in the timber lodges, makes Parc Oasis a wonderful place for a winter break.
Why not come in the early spring to see the Mimosa in blossom, or time your visit to coincide with the February Nice Flower Show? Crisp, bright weather, very hot in the direct sunlight, allow shirt-sleeve dining out during the day, while the beautiful scenery without the crowds seems all yours to savour.
Then in October, you can experience the dreamy warmth of the dying summer while taking in the exotic excitement of the St Tropez regatta or at the end of the month the buzz of the All Saints/Halloween holiday celebrations.
